Supplements?

Greetings again,

Wanting to know what people think about various supplements, from Multi-Vs to Anabolic Steroids.

No need to limit conversation to just supplements, but why not meal replacements in general?

What's your opinion? Concerns? Recommendations? Lets let the online fitness world know how you feel and what knowledge or questions you have!

A smoothie that I regularly make and tastes great:

.5 cup ice
.5 cup fat free milk
.5 cup fat free yogurt
1 banana (cut into chunks)
.25-.5 cup of frozen fruit (mix or select kind)
1 scoop of select protein powder
2 tablespoons Benefiber

Put into blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy.

  1. I would never condone anabolic steriods, and I honestly don't know if multivitamins, do anything to help people. I kind of feel like, if you are going to get heart disease, or have osteoporosis, its a gene thing, not because you didn't take a calcium supplement, and you probably got heart disease because it ran in your family or you didnt eat the right things. I think physical activity and diet can help people control certain diseases more then any kind of vitamin.

  2. i agree that physical activity is the number one way to living a healthy life, closely coupled with eating habits, but it think that taking different vitamins and supplements is just adding to your health and, if you get the right supplements, can help you be healthier.
